Counter Invasive is an ongoing concentration beginning in the year 2021. This series deals with the horrendous ways human-kind treats ecosystems across the United States. With this in mind artist Cody Norton wishes to evoke a sense of understanding for these ecosystems in the U.S. To accomplish that he is creating artwork that flips the roles in our ecosystem to make people understand the pain we are inflicting on nature. Whether it involves invasive species introduced by mankind or the destruction of ecosystems. Norton wants to get across to the viewer what we are doing and how we can change.
